I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Emotions By Hodelpa Puerto Plata. It’s a newly renovated and clean place, and everything was good. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. I stayed in a double room with stable internet and comfortable beds for 2 nights. the à la carte restaurant offered better and faster service, enhancing my experience.

Relaxing and fairly quiet unit with bedroom. Good food and excellent drinks.

We enjoyed a fantastic room with great amenities like a personal safe, climate control, and a coffee/tea maker.

The room was great. We also liked house 13 with pool and bar
As I know other resorts, I have to say here that the food was not all that great. The $40 New Year's Eve menu is a joke! It's a rip-off. And the entertainment is nothing compared to any of the other resorts

Recently renovated and incredibly beautiful hotel and small restaurant. The very very helpful and attentive staff all round. Reasonably large and brand-new room with a clean bathroom and an electronic key card, coffee/tea makers, and cable TV. Outstanding food for dinner and breakfast. Marvellous breakfast, terrific services. Not to mention stable wifi! Unbeatable location, few metres away from Oh Canada eh Dinner show. Loved coastal area...

Had very good stay on vacation, the staff were amazingly efficient, location was magnificent close to the beach. Location: the hotel was close enough to the Mexican restaurant. Besides, it was 10 mins walk from Playa Dorada.

This hotel was really comfortable and in a great spot—just a short distance from everything we needed. 😊.

It was great to find an all-inclusive resort that would allow a 1 night only stay. The pool bar was a nice place to get to know the folks who would be on the week long boat trip. There is a covered area which was great during the brief rain shower. Reservations are needed in advance for other restaurants, so we ate at the buffet. Food quality was average. I recommend having a custom made fruit smoothie at breakfast.
I was disappointed that the frozen drink machine was not working and that they ran out of rum. I didn't expect top shelf drinks being it was an all inclusive, but everything tasted a little off. Unfortunately, I do not like beer - that's what most of the group switched to.

At the check-in the booked price was no longer correct, I had to pay for a Christmas dinner although I didn't want this, I was given the choice to take it or to leave.

The service was excellent, and the food was excellent. My room with a note "Stable internet required with quiet as a nice plus", a beachfront patio was exceptionally good and beautiful. I had a good night's sleep.

No vip salesman harassing me in the hotel
They don't restock the fridge and only stock it with water
